Case Study: Chief Operating Officer

As part of their long-term strategic plan, a Top 200 ENR ranked contractor sought to expand beyond their typical footprint through geographic expansion and adding new verticals to their portfolio. Jackson’s executive search team was engaged to assist with identifying qualified candidates for leadership roles to support this growth.

After assessing the current team and identifying areas of weakness, we determined that a national search would be required to access the level of talent needed for the role. Using our proprietary network and talent mapping system, Jackson identified 64 potential candidates. Through a rigorous screening process, we identified three highly qualified candidates for our client to interview.

One candidate was ultimately selected for the Chief Operating Officer role and another was hired as Vice President of Operations. These new leaders have made a significant impact on the organization, including improved relationships with trade partners, a more effective risk management group, and the elimination of poor-performing software solutions.

To date, the organization’s profits have increased year-over-year by 11% and they have experienced revenue growth exceeding 38%.
